LC&SA Trap range is open to members and guests all year round for scheduled events. Cost is $5.00 per line.

Our new Promatic clay thrower is available to all members. Contact the Trap Chairman or show up during a scheduled trap event to obtain an RF card. This machine is available during normal shooting hours.

What is Trap?

Trapshooting is a shotgun sport involving 5 stations. Targets are thrown from a single machine at various angles. One to Five shooters move through the 5 positions shooting 5 shots at each position, totaling 25 targets in one round. Trap is great for beginners and experienced shooters.

What do I need?

Any safe shotgun 410 through 12 gauge can be used

25 rounds (1 box) of target shells #7 or smaller and not faster than 1200 feet per second.

What if I’ve never shot trap before?

No problem our members are quite friendly and eager to help you get started. Join us and we will get you breaking targets.
